Q - Are you a home health agency?

A- Yes, MBGH is a Licensed Home Health Agency. We provide a full range of non-medical and medical in home services to older and disabled individuals who are living at home. 

Q - Why choose MBGH?

A - MBGH is a local owned and operated. We know allowing someone into your home to care for a loved one, or even yourself is a big step. All of our caregivers are thoroughly screened and trained, both for professional skill and personality type.

Q: What’s the difference between MBGH home care and a visiting nurse agency?

A: MBGH offers an extensive continuum of care, providing the right kind of care at the right time. Not only do we provide professional nurses to care for you in your home, we offer  much more. At MBGH, we are dedicated to research and training to ensure your receive the very latest in home based care.

Q - Q: What if I need home care for only a short time?

A - Home care services can be used on a short-term or long-term basis. After surgery, Bed Rest Orders and more. 

NO MINIMUM  use as you need. While with MBGH, you will have a case manager to regularly assess your situation and needs.

Q - Are the Care Staff trained?

 A - Yes, our care staff are experienced certified Home Health Aid, or Licensed Private Duty LPN. MBGH trains and 

has ongoing educational training for consistent care staff performance of the MBGH high standard of care. 

Q - What days are you open?

A -24 Hour Availability. Providing home care any number of hours, any day, or night of the week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to  meet your care needs. 

Q - What can I expect on the first Visit?

A - On the first visit, MBGH professional will conduct an initial assessment. At MBGH, this thorough interview and professional assessment is part of our coordinated approach to managing your overall health status. 

Our Free Assessment focuses on identifying areas where you may benefit from and partners with you, your family and doctor to promote disease management & prevention, determining which services 

will enrich your love ones life.





Q - I use many Providers. Will they work together?

A - Yes, the team approach helps in all aspects of care from; avoiding medical 

or treatment concerns, to making the transition from a hospital or nursing facility to your home much easier, and actively engages you and your 

caregivers in your care.

Q - How often will you come to my home?

A - The frequency and type of home health visits and the services provided are based on your personal plan of care. Your doctor or family member may change your plan of care, increasing or decreasing the number of visits or services provided, in order to provide you with the best home health care for your needs. You determine if we are at your home for a service, a day or extended care you decide.

Q - My Dr. is ordering home care visits. Can I request MBGH?

A - Absolutely, and we’d be honored to care for you or your loved one. Federal law gives patients the freedom to choose their health care provider. 

Q - Who is Eligible for Home Health Care?

There are several requirements for receiving home health care 

under Medicare Benefits:


A - You must have a doctor prescribe home health care

You must need either skilled nursing care or therapy on an intermittent basis (i.e., physical/occupational/speech therapy)


There are other Payment Options

You can considered “homebound”below)


Q - What does "Homebound" mean?

A - Essentially, your condition is such that you’re normally unable to safely leave your home without the assistance of others and the aid of assistive devices (such as crutches, canes, walkers or wheelchairs), and that doing so would require considerable and taxing effort.


You can generally leave home as often as you need for medical treatment that cannot be provided in the home and still be considered homebound. Further, you are allowed brief and infrequent absences from the home for some 

non-medical reasons, such as an occasional trip to the barber/beauty shop, to attend church, or for unique family events (like a graduation).
