Words that shaped my life's work. Hi, I am Kim Brown, life-long Danbury resident and founder of  

Mama Brown's Giffted Hands Home Care LLC. (MBGH)


Welcome to my dream. 

In 1967, I was 11, I met a wonderful lady who owned and operated "Pied Piper Nursery". 

Her name was Addie D, Harmon lovingly known as "Mama Brown". 

She was a easy no nonsense lady, who trained me to be a caregiver,  

impacting my young mind for life with her wisdom.  


Teaching me that our softer strengths; humility and compassion were essential for being a good caregiver. 

Equally, her firm leadership made her a great mentor and boss. The love, fairness and compassion she 

showed from the smallest to the oldest was ever constant and inspiring to this day.   


During that interview, she said something I have never forgotten. 

"showing compassion and love towards others, is what we were born to do". 

I have always been compelled to help anyone in need, especially children, people with special needs and the elderly. 

Her drive, and passion to love and assist others created this desire in me. 

Thank you! Mama Brown for your spirit and guidance setting me on my life path as a "Care Giver".  

 Mama Brown set the standard high, and that standard has served me well. My forty plus years of; care giving

hard work, education and successful application have honed my skills. Culminating to this moment for MBGH. I am 

committed to maintaining and exceeding EXCELLENCE in Care Giving. By providing consistent, excellent 

home care for your loved one. It is our privilege to come into your home, we appreciate your trust.

It is with the love and commitment of Mama Brown that I have been touched by many.

 For that, I am grateful and humbled to be of service to you.
